Reilly Solicitors Partners with the Obuya Cricket Academy
Reilly Solicitors is proud to announce its official partnership with the Obuya Cricket Academy, a community-based organisation in Nairobi dedicated to transforming young lives through cricket, education, and mentorship.
Founded in 2005 by the Obuya brothers—Kennedy, David, and Collins—following Kenya’s remarkable run at the 2003 Cricket World Cup, the Academy has become a beacon of hope for underprivileged children from Nairobi’s slums. More than 500 children have gained cricket experience through the Academy, with over 15 earning scholarships that funded their education. Many of its players have gone on to represent Kenya at national and international levels, proving the power of opportunity and support.
As part of this partnership, Reilly Solicitors has established the John Joseph Reilly Scholarships, named in honour of our firm’s founder. These scholarships will support talented young cricketers by helping them through high school, ensuring they have both the education and the sporting opportunities to fulfil their potential.
